|Woe is me.

My daughter has always been a bit of a prankster. But last week, she pulled the biggest prank imaginable. I turned on my laptop, and everything was rearranged. My desktop had a picture of a clown (I'm terrified of them), all my icons were replaced with bizarre symbols (I saw an alien and a winged cat, I'm sure), and clicking the "Start" menu played a cacophonous sound I never went to hear again. She's always been a computer wiz, but the lengths she went to do this in the hour she was visiting my home must have been extreme. She's skilled, but hopefully next time she'll put those skills to better use than terrifying me! I was April Fooled, and I thought it was going to cost me my job. In this economic climate, replacing this laptop wouldn't be an easy feat.|
Speaking of work, it's still tough lately. In fact, I am very stressed out. I think I'll have to take the boat out once the weather is a bit nicer.
